보편적 진리(universal truth)는 세상을 위한 올바른 가치라고 볼 수 있습니다.
세상에 올바른 보편적 가치가 수립되지 않는다면 세상은 큰 갈등과 혼란으로 끊임없는 위기를 반복적으로 겪게 될 수 있을 것입니다.

더욱이 미래로 갈수록 더욱 강력해지는 과학문명으로 말미암아, 더이상 인류는 시행착오없는 올바른 가치에의한 판단과 분별력이 크게 요구된다고 볼수 있을 것입니다.
과거에는 상상조차 못하였던, 버튼 하나로도 인류에 큰 재앙이 닥칠수도 있는 시대 임을 잊지 말아야 할 것입니다.

보편적 진리는 바로 그러한 인류의 많은 문제들을 고쳐주고 예방하게 만들 시초가 되어 줄 것입니다.
바로 인류와 국가, 세상에 반드시 필요하고 없어서는 안될, 반드시 갖춰야할 시대적 산물인 것입니다.

물질문명의 발전에 비해, 인류의 정신문명은 아직도 과거에 머물러 본질적 체계를 갖지 못하고 있기에, 보편적 진리는 인류의 올바른 가치판단과 분별력 등에 크게 유용한 역할을 하게 될 것입니다.
진정한 정신문명의 성숙없는 인류는 큰 피해를 다시금 맞닥뜨리게 될 것입니다.

더이상 잘못된 시행착오로 인류의 큰 재앙과 피해를 초래해서는 안될 것입니다.
지구온난화, 기계문명에 의한 위험, 전쟁, 경제문제, 환경재난, 에너지문제, 기근, 가난, 인권, 평등, 자유 등 이루헤어릴 수 없는 많은 과제들은 바로 보편적 진리의 큰 틀안에서 본질적 방향감각을 찾을 수 있게 될 것입니다.
민주주의, 권력조차도 잘못된 방향으로 어긋날경우, 미래의 인권과 자유, 인류애 등은 크게 위협받게 될 것입니다.

과거에는 수없이 많은 성현들과 학자들이 올바른 가치를 위하여 노력해왔고 또한 그 속에서 많은 피해도 겪어왔었습니다.
이제는 그러한 과거의 오류와 문제를 반복하지 말고 올바른 가치로 다양성을 실현하여 본질적 인류의 미래를 개척해 나가야 본질적 인류의 미래도 장담할 수 있게 된다는 사실을 기억해야 할 것입니다.

-보편적 진리는 인종, 국가, 영토, 자원, 종교 등의 문제를 초월하여 모두가 공존하고 올바른 인권과 자유, 다양성을 누릴 수 있도록 이끄는, 진정한 보편적 가치임을 잊지 말아야 할 것입니다.
보편적 가치는 또한 미래로 갈수록 체계적으로 발전하고 다듬어져야함을 또한 기억해야 할 것입니다.

덧붙여, 현재 집필된 '21세기의 보편적 진리'는 수없이 많은 검증과 보완속에 탄생한 소중한 인류의 가치임을 잊지 말아야 할 것입니다.
